Restorative yoga is a deeply nourishing and rejuvenating practice that aligns body, mind, and spirit to function at their optimal levels. We’ll make use of blankets, blocks, cushions, and other props and the poses are held for several minutes at a time. All is designed to remove toxic buildup in the body as well as boost the immune system. Give yourself the gift of releasing tension in a supportive environment and flooding the body with happiness and bliss!

Turn that frown upside down... how to smile at fear and the unfamiliar. It takes courage to launch yourself upside down, yet, it makes you feel like a kid again. Join us for this All Levels 2 hour workshop w guest teacher Marc St. Pierre, focused on safely learning the steps towards headstand, handstand, and forearm stand. You will be shown and experience the necessary elements of Inversions. Don't be afraid, you just need some technique! Never been upside down before? Perfect! We would love to welcome you and get you comfortable turning your world upside down. Been upside down before but want to refine your skills? Wonderful, this will certainly give you more tools to stick a more stable inversion.

Breath and Bandhas: Tools to Ignite Your Yoga Practice Open-Level Asana and workshop In this workshop, Ame will explore the uses of pranayama and bandha engagement to create deeper strength and connection within asana practice. Through a sequence tailored to cultivate understanding of the 3 bandhas- mula, uddiyana, and jalandhara, you will learn how to integrate them into your normal practice and subsequently transform your asana experience. From twists to arm balances to hip openers and backbends, breath and bandha integration will help you to stabilize and support yourself from the inside out. Come on an empty stomach.
Unraveling Padmasana, Sunday, August 5th, 4-6:30pm, $35
Unraveling Padmasana: Secrets to Happy Knees and Hips Open-Level Asana and Workshop An often avoided and hated posture, padmasana, which translates into “lotus throne,” can be beautiful and freeing when prepared for properly. Learn how to open the knees and hips to prime your body for full lotus and its many variations while maintaining awareness and listening to the your body’s resistance.
